Two years ago my 12 yr old son developed OSD. Our doctor said the only thing possible was rest and if it didnt get better he might have to quit sports. This was devastating news until I found Durham and Core Advantage online. What a savior! It took my son a couple of weeks longer (10 weeks) to return to sport pain free along with a couple of supportive emails from Durham along the way. Two years later my son has never looked back the only downtime he had was while going through the program. Last year he played at an elite level for the entire season without issue and continues to this day pain free. It has also led to some great habits. It's been two years and he still rolls and stretches everyday and has become way more efficient in his movement patterns. He was also accepted to a highly competitive sports centered high school. I cannot say enough about this program. When I was a teen my brother was casted because of his OSD and quit playing sports. I was afraid my son was going to meet a similar fate. My son is at the end of his last week. I’m not going into all the details you can see my previous posts for the hole story. (If it helps) Anyway I just wanted to thanks all you guys at Core Advance this is my second time with my Kid having OSD first the left and now the right knee the difference between the experience doing the 7 week course and doing what the Doctors told me a year and a half ago here in Dallas Tx is huge not even in the same ball park. So if you are like me 7 weeks ago that I saw the add did a little bit of research and said “what the hell? Nothing else seams to be working” You won’t regret it. Just wanted to say thankyou to Jacob and everyone at CAAD. I honestly didnt hold much hope as my son just couldn't seem to do any kind of activity anymore. He loves his football (soocer) and was playing to a high standard. He then got diagnosed with OSD and his world turned upside down couldn't even train and basically gave up all hope got quite upset about the whole situation and said he would never play again. After starting a new high school they go and have trails when we are 4 weeks into the programme and he even said to me there is no point going. I told him to give it a go and just see and if it hurts and if it does stop but it will give us an idea if any of this is helping and let's just see what happens. He finished the trail which was an hour and didn't have to stop once and got selected you should have seen the smile on his face! It hurt the next day but after 48 hours hes back to normal. The programme does take a while each day as the weeks progress but wow it's worth it to see that smile back on his face. Thanks again for all you do :)'
